A majority of our designs and products have a contemporary ‘afrochic’ look while the rest are stunningly contemporary or classic. Most of these items are produced locally in the company’s factory in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, with the rest being imported from across Africa and beyond.
Colours in Africa Ltd is a furniture manufacturing and retailing company which began about 18years ago, though it has only about 10 years in its major manufacturing operations. The company designs and manufacture a full line of home furnishing for corporate /commercial apartments, school furniture, jungle gym, dustbins, outdoor parasols and awnings. All of these items are produced locally in the company’s factory in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria with materials sourced locally and across Africa.
For over 10 years the business concern has been on how to constantly serve the need of our existing as well as prospective clients better, while continuously watching the market trend. This has been a selling mark for the company and has helped constantly to take us to the next level. We have always been on the lookout for new technology to help diversify and improve on our products and services.
The Services we offer include the execution of projects such as furnishing of corporate/commercial apartments and offices, schools, private residences, hotels and restaurants. We run a factory that is first to manufacture the following in Nigeria; Aluminium woven outdoor furniture, Aluminium parasols, Awnings, Jungle gyms, amongst others. We also manufacture: Doors and Cabinetry, Stacking Metal Chairs, Powder coated outdoor furniture, Dustbins, Lamps, Gift items, Children’s Furniture.

A trained medical director, serial entrepreneur, innovator and capacity builder with almost three decades of building businesses from scratch.
His ethos is ensuring that skill/knowledge must be locally available so our products can be scaled up for mass production. In order to achieve this, he pays premium for the transfer and acquisition of skills for the indigenous staffs.
He has attended different business and leadership training courses amongst which is management training in the Asian Institute of Management, Manila, Philippines and the Robin Sharma Leadership Training in South Africa.
In Colours in Africa, He is the principal driver for the creativity and designs, which is the major sustaining element for the success of the business which he founded about 20 years ago.
Factory Manager
Joyce is a skilled Financial and Management accountant with 9+ years’
experience in various financial management and administrative capacity;
She has recorded laudable achievements in financial analysis, business book keeping, project management, budget control, tax administration and financial advisory.
She is a member of the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria with professional training in SAGE 50.
Design
Bamike is a graduate of Architecture from Covenant University Ogun, Nigeria with a Master’s degree in architecture as well.
She has over 6 years work experience and has attended various training workshops including the Skillsedge Training Programme in Jos and the Project Management training for
Interior designers in Lagos. She works closely with clients, contributing her experience and
intuitive understanding of design and furnishing to translates their needs and desires.
